the bounce agency promotes stephen childress to associate creative director
the bounce agency, Greenville's full-service marketing communications firm, announced today that Stephen Childress, an award-winning copywriter, has been promoted to associate creative director.
Childress's creative contributions to the bounce agency include the highly acclaimed 2007 Greenville Literacy Association Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale campaign as well as the soon-to-be launched "Time to Thaw" Chicago-specific, guerilla marketing campaign for South Carolina's Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
Childress began his career in Los Angeles where he worked for the multi-national firms Deutsch and Grey Advertising on major brand name accounts like McDonald's, Mitsubishi, Pedigree Dog Food and the California Lottery. He has received many awards for his copywriting, including a prestigious, international One Show award representing the industry's highest achievement in creative excellence. He has received a Best of Show award in the 2007 AAF Third District ADDY competition, three Special Judges Awards from the Greenville Ad Club, and, in 2006, he was named "Copywriter of the Year" by The Greenville Ad Club.
