bounce wins new york festival silver medal award

Greenville, S.C., (April 18, 2008) —

bounce's "Have Any Books Lying Around?" campaign created for the Greenville Literacy Association was honored with a Silver World Medal at the 2008 New York Festival's Innovative Advertising Awards. The New York Festivals are an internationally recognized awards show honoring the world's best advertising campaigns from around the globe.

"It's rare for an agency in a small market like ours to achieve this type of world-wide recognition. We love it when we produce ideas that generate incredible results for our clients and international recognition for our thinking," said Carlos Jimenez, CEO of bounce.

The Greenville Literacy Association's "Have Any Books Lying Around?" campaign featured unique guerilla installations, including a stairwell wrapped to look like a giant stack of books, tiny PostIt note packets fitted with custom book jackets and the side of a parking garage wrapped to look like a giant bookshelf. The campaign helped the Greenville Literacy Association generate over 100,000 book donations and over $100,000 in revenue making it the largest one-day used book sale in the nation.
