bounce wins record 5 national addy awards at nation's biggest advertising award show.
With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY® Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. Tell that to the bounce agency who won a district high 5 National ADDY® Awards at the AAF National Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. To put that accomplishment into perspective, those 5 National ADDYS are the most ever given in one year to any South Carolina agency during the competition's nearly 50 years in existence.

4 Gold ADDYs went to the "Time To Thaw" campaign for the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism while 1 Silver ADDY went to a television commercial produced for the Greenville Literacy Association.
"Our work was judged superior to work from the country's largest and best-known agencies." said John McDermott, President and Creative Director at the bounce agency. "That fact, along with our setting the South Carolina record, makes a strong statement about the caliber of the advertising we're creating."
The "Time To Thaw" campaign experienced similar success as it advanced through each tier of the ADDY award competition winning a Best of Show award at both the local and district levels.
"We're in the business of ideas, so when ours are determined to be some of the most innovative and most successful at generating results for our clients, we're excited about that," said Stephen Childress, Associate Creative Director on both winning campaigns.
Talk about results. The Time To Thaw campaign received 1.2 million hits on the travel deals page of the TimeToThaw.com microsite in just one month last February while increasing the already substantial traffic to the main website by a startling average of 25%.
"All in all, you couldn't ask for a campaign to do any better in terms of the results it has achieved for our client. The new record and the awards are just icing on the cake," said Childress.
In addition to garnering a record number of ADDYs, the "Time To Thaw" campaign recently earned international recognition by winning the Google Wisdom of the Crowd Award at the travel and tourism industry's largest awards show, The HSMAI Adrian Awards. The Google Award was given to the world's best campaign as voted on by a panel of industry professionals and a poll of consumers from across the country.
