bounce agency awarded best in show
Healthcare campaign earns top honors from industry-leading organization
A television campaign created for AnMed Health by local advertising agency Bounce was awarded Best in Show by an influential healthcare marketing organization. The Bounce Agency learned of the honor at the recent annual meeting of the Carolinas Healthcare PR and Marketing Society (CHPRMS), which is affiliated with the American Hospital Association's Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. The Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development is the largest and most influential organization of its type among hospitals and other healthcare organizations in the United States. In addition to Best in Show, The Bounce Agency's TV campaign and a print campaign for AnMed Health Women's and Children's Hospital each received Gold awards in their individual categories.
Called "The Wallie Awards," CHPRMS hosts the annual competition as a way to recognize excellence in healthcare public relations and marketing. Members compete in more than a dozen categories and winners are chosen by a panel of healthcare professionals. "Best in Show" is awarded to the single entry that surpasses all other entries throughout the competition, regardless of category. "Gold" is the top honor given to entries within each category.
The Best in Show won by bounce, was for a television campaign called "Everyday Experts." The TV campaign consists of one 30-second spot for AnMed Health Heart and Vascular Care and one 30-second spot for AnMed Health Cancer Care. The TV campaign ran in April 2007 on local cable networks throughout the AnMed Health service area.
The "Everyday Experts" TV campaign won a Gold Wallie in the category of "Television Advertising Campaign – hospitals with more than $300M in gross revenues." The "Women's and Children's Hospital Everyday Experts" print campaign won in the category of "Print Advertising Campaign - hospitals with more than $300M in gross revenues." The print campaign began running in June 2007 in The Greenville News, The Anderson Independent-Mail and other regional weekly publications and magazines.
Judges rated entries based on the following criteria:
- Response to issue and clarity of objectives
- Creativity, quality and appropriateness of materials
- Achievement of objectives/measurement of results
